The trip
We stay inside the barrier islands, where the water is protected and the fishing is steady. Your captain reads the tide and moves between grass flats, mangrove edges and dock lines to find fish that are feeding.
Expect light tackle and live bait, with plenty of coaching for anyone who has never held a rod. Experienced anglers can sight-cast to tailing redfish or work the docks for snook.
